Objectives

LEWIS Spain began working with Sage in April 2009. The main objective of the campaign was to reinforce Sage’s reputation as a global brand whilst devising sensitivity to local markets and establish Sage as a market leader.

Strategy

  • Reinforce Sage’s brand within the Spanish key media as leading supplier of business management software and services for small start-ups to larger organizations.
  • Focus on Sage’s strengths, arranged one-on-one interviews and meetings with key Spanish journalists, bloggers and opinion leaders
  • Use releases, opinion articles and events to raise profile above competitors

Results

  • More than 50 interviews with key press in Spain including Expansión, Cinco Días, La Vanguardia, El Economista, EFE, TVE among others
  • Over 1.200 cuttings generated in Spain alone over 15 months, with an average of 90 per month, mostly in tier one media
  • Supported 11 events
  • Four one-on-one key meetings arranged the main business publications in Spain: Expansión, Cinco Días, El Economista and La Gaceta
